SOAR with Students of Ayn Rand is an independent, non-profit organization located in Miami, Florida, which is dedicated to the study and promotion of Objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand. SOAR supports the work of the Ayn Rand Institute but is not affiliated with or endorsed by it or by the Estate of Ayn Rand. SOAR, the content of its publications and its membership, possess various degrees of knowledge and integration of Objectivist principles and are not official spokesmen for the philosophy.

SOAR emphasizes the integration of Objectivist principles as the means of maximizing the human potential for achievement, love, happiness and self-esteem. SOAR sponsors speakers, workshops, discussion groups, audio and film presentations, and social events. Our aim is to be the fulcrum to lift awareness of Objectivism in the Miami area.

The organization issues a monthly brochure to keep members abreast of SOAR activities and meeting topics, and issues the monthly SOAR Magazine, which contains essays and commentary of interest to students of Objectivism. SOAR Magazine is a new creation which we hope will be a proving ground for up-and-coming Objectivist thinkers and students of Objectivism who want to sharpen their writing and thinking skills. SOAR welcomes submissions from its members and other studetns of Objectivism from around the world. We also would like to establish contact with college groups.
