The University of Iowa Objectivists is in the process of forming and has about five members (as of 1/12/98). It will be associated with The University of Iowa, but individuals from surrounding towns and colleges are more than welcome.

Formal meetings will be held every two weeks to start, and will mainly consist of video lectures followed by discussion, or discussions of chapters or essays written by Ms. Rand or other Objectivists. Other possibilities include philosophically oriented movies, a lending library, letter writing campaigns, etc.

An organizational meeting is currently scheduled for the second Tuesday in February.
